What We're Wearing Wednesday........Week 1
This post will come on all, some, or as many as I can Wednesdays and the first one is me!
A certain five year old thought she would have the first one but when I reminded her that she was wearing her summer uniform she decided she wanted to wait and pick a holiday Wednesday instead, shame really I quite like her uniform!
So Wednesdays wardrobe this week is me, and today I'm dressed in cobalt blue Nicole Farhi linen tunic with curved side splits, pockets which I love and knot fold detail at front.
Accessorised with one of my hand made neck pieces featuring fish flower and pompom, mushroom brogues with pink cotton petersham laces.
Hair in monkey buns! When mini1 first asked for monkey buns I had no idea what they were she says they are chunky curly hair buns, one each side (a bit Star Wars like if you ask me but much more nest like!)

Feeling bright and happy with a big yellow sun in the sky this morning and extra special for mini1 because yellow her absolute favourite colour except on days when she says 'all colours are my favourite' but that can be a rainbow post one day!

these bags will be right up your street!
Whilst on a bag hunt for mini1 i came across Etsy shopfront 'me & lu studio' Julia Gabriel is the shop owner and designer and from her love of architecture and the idea that a building has a soul she makes backpacks. These back packs are no ordinary back pack but they are modelled on buildings that have been abandoned, these bags bring back life to the things we previously created and may now have forgotton. Custom orders are taken which I think is a wonderful memory of a place you once lived in, a forgotten holiday home, a favourite place, a place that is or once was called 'home' they really are amazing....

cosy up 'blabla' cushions
I do have a soft spot for cushions and there is such great choice out there so we have quite a few in our rooms, on sofas, floors, playhouses, chairs....
As well as the many "add to basket" cushions! I make too, ranging from the cloud shaped to the traditional square, they're fun and can transform a setting in an afternoon and at not a huge cost.
Today though i have these lovely knit ones by blabla to share with you.....

bags for the little ones...that mum can hold too!
With nursery and holiday planning of course the one accessory that is a must is 'the bag'.
Well this got me looking, and what treasures I found, ok most I have been longing to buy for quite awhile now, mostly those from fabulously beautiful French labels; 'Lale' and 'Bakker Made with Love'. Then there are the ones that kids love from a great kiddie brand 'SkipHop' and what is exciting is that they have new season additions including the fellows below.
Bakker Made with Love have these adorable satchels so when the little one says 'mum can you hold my bag please?' I'll say YES
They also have the stylish cases with simple aeroplane motif, fab colours.
SkipHop have elephant and fox new to join the animal pack! The kids love these, backpacks are always a sure winner with a little one and an animal on your back, cool.
Lale collection available from Smallable is just simply gorgeous, i needn't say more the fabrics speak for themselves along with the simplistic pleasing shapes, get me to France quick so I can be surrounded by beautiful things and oooohhh the purchases I have in mind.....

My watch is off to the repairers, whilst away thought I could 'arm' myself with some summer colour fun with one of these ...
Alessi bring these fun and quirky watches in a range of colours , the blue and white are my favourites but there is a green, pink and black option too, how cute is the face :) - £52
Tic Watches offer all brands and colours but here are the ones I liked most, especially the Breo Two colour, £35 (my mini-one is admiring the stackable 'bouncy watch!)
Fullspot O Clock a colour for everyone here, with these cool stylish Italian watches with pop out faces and changeable straps to create you own colour combos, now available in the UK £34.95
Nooka watches have a great range too these picks are from the 'yogurt' range and 'zub-40'
