designers guild, john lewis & orla for boys....

Yes I know here I go again with the lovely designs from Orla Kiely, but must mention her as she is not just for the girls.....

How gorgeous would the car bedlinen be for a boys room. As would some of the other offerings I came across from Designers Guild & John Lewis

Mum of 2 girls and rooms to finish I've been on the hunt for other interior fabrics, we do have some of our own bedding in the rooms cloud cuckOO designs, like the owl cotbed set (here rolled up with the other 2 designs)

but I'm still on the hunt for more fabric as 'project curtain' is due to commence.... well on my search I came across some pieces for a nursery or toddler/kid room girls and boys that I thought were worth sharing....

Nursery and Kid Prints

When we moved before christmas into our grade 2 georgian home I really thought a bit of decorating and we'd be done, well a few months later we're not done but we are slowly getting there....(pics to follow in a future entry)

Girls are at least in their rooms and I'm pleased to be adding the final touched to their rooms including some prints to the walls today, here are 2 of our own prints that will be added; mike monkey and olive owl.

Recycling

As a mum of 2 girls; one 10mo who loves paper! and a just turned 3yo I'm constantly playing 'craft corner' (and having fun!) A great thing about it is the creativity, imagination and also the recycling aspect of it, a recent cardboard robot had so much recycling materials on him at the end of his days he pretty much took over the 'green' bin!
Well here I'd like to share with you someone who can work with cardboard on another level; "hutchstudio" aka 'Cardboard Chris' he transforms cardboard into absolute delights. Here are a few pics and inspiration for us all......

anorak online have four great bags to pick from, the lovely talented designer Laurie behind anorak keeps giving us great products to pick from, rabbits are my fave! and i couldn't be without my rabbit weekend holdall.
As for the high street they too have a bit of print going on, try mamas & papas

ok so i don't need a new car but if i did, the limited edition DS3 citroen would be the one.....
great idea of theirs to team up with the fabulous O.K. and have her designs grace the inside and out.

What a super busy 10 months; Coco and the relocation of home and business are the biggies but also work and design.

an addition to our nest

sunny days, ice-creams, holidays, smiles and a new baby girl, Coco Agnes.
Coco is now one month old and happily enjoying her cloud cuckoo designs textiles!
From our first collection launched in 2008 she happily lies on one of the first playmats in the garden.
Organic laundry bags from our 2010 range are rapidly being filled by both girls and Coco has also enjoyed the blankets and vests :)
Our friends from Merryberry sent one of their adorable hats too.

googling for Lucy Casson and her gorgeous character pieces I came across abbot and ellwood, in the past I have purchased lots of their pins for gifts, but hey look at their larger pieces, simply divine,mmmmm can I have a gift to myself? .............
