Fox love

As a younger man my dad had a pet fox he named him Basil.
Dad has always had a soft spot for these creatures.
I'm sure he'll be loving these Foxes too!

turned to a tea-pot and messyfish......

The morning routine always would include a pot of coffee, it still does just I'm not drinking it at the moment. I've turned to tea and it's usually a bag in a mug kind of approach, this changes through the day as fresh leaves get picked from the herb beds. This mornings find however has made me think I really need to do a pot of tea.....why?
Because check out this knitted gem by Etsy seller MessyFishDotCom
Padovimbro Tea Cosy

Here are more treats by this seller for those who are not big on tea just love a bit of quirky knitting....

And finally if knit doesn't rock your boat these gorgeous prints surely will..

grey

Sad to say this post again is related to the weather and unlike the blue post where the weather was not getting me now I'm now on the brink of changing my mind. The relentless wet weather seems to be not letting up and even when I look 5-10 days ahead there is the rain cloud symbol on each day. Despite the popularity of clouds in the creative world when it comes to the sky I'd love to blow them away, this is backed up by my two girls too!
Grey however can and is a gorgeous colour, and these fabulous finds back that thought up nicely!

If you like the colour grey check out an earlier post 'grey & happy'

blue

I can't resist a post on blue following the yellow post a couple of weeks ago. Our mood is not blue in fact we are quite sunny today (inside) having done some lovely paintings with the girls and just now made a delicious cake for this afternoon's indoor treat.
No, I'm going with blue because of the relentless rain we are getting, today is set for the worst rainfall to date this 'summer' and although it sometimes feels a little draining our roses are very happy and these blue finds are beautiful....

these bags will be right up your street!

Whilst on a bag hunt for mini1 i came across Etsy shopfront 'me & lu studio' Julia Gabriel is the shop owner and designer and from her love of architecture and the idea that a building has a soul she makes backpacks. These back packs are no ordinary back pack but they are modelled on buildings that have been abandoned, these bags bring back life to the things we previously created and may now have forgotton. Custom orders are taken which I think is a wonderful memory of a place you once lived in, a forgotten holiday home, a favourite place, a place that is or once was called 'home' they really are amazing....

Pinterest..i love you..

Just a few months back I set myself up on Pinterest I must say it has to be one of the best things I've ever done (in this cyber kinda world that is).
I log on in a morning 'pin' from those I follow, do sourcing and such myself throughout the day or when I have those lose yourself in inspiration moments and 'pin' my finds. It opens up a whole new world and not only am I grateful for such inspiring people and finds but also thrilled by seeing my follower numbers climb, it feels good to know that I'm sharing and it's liked and inspiring to my followers as those who share with me and make me happy.

Thank you pinners and followers and long may we all pin :)

Here is a snap shot of some of my boards

With Fathers Day just one week away I thought these fabulous Etsy finds would be fitting and fun, I'm smiling and I'm sure Dadda and Pa-Pa will be too.....

A little DIY required with this decal from Me & My 3 Boys it's super useful as every chap has that change that is just screaming out for a pot to pop it in to (snip at £2.99)

Silli Creations you can create an array of things...soaps, candles, cakes..... all for the special 'him' with this silicone mould

Freaky Fleece can help make dadda/pa-pa comfy and relaxed on fathers day (& have that treat yourself feeling too) with these great cushions...love them, find it tricky just picking two!

Isabells Umbrella has this print which I really like but for a different forth coming event!

rag cat on her way....

I am so excited about my recent purchase from ESZTERDArte, this gorgeous grey cat with her sweet embroidered face, white skirt and pompom accessory on her head is making her way from Hungary, near the river Danube. When she arrives we will name her and I'm sure be tempted into buying more from the talented Eszter.

Eszter Dobo has been inspired by textiles since her kindergarten years and her gorgeous creations of unique dolls and home decorations clearly shows this. All pieces are created from linen and cotton, part machine and hand made with beautiful details.
I'll be back following her arrival and share some pics of this delightful rag cat with some of her friends here waiting for her!

lots of hooks & a bed!

I'm so excited with my new finds from kalma & violeta, they're a Madrid based company and have a collection of decorative accessories for children. I came about them whilst on a morning 'wall hook' hunt! and could just shop away all day!
The product is gorgeous, calm colours and simple lines in natural forms, I did get extra excited when I found the gorgeous bunk bed.

There is also an etsy shop and prices start from £5.24 for a Cat Violeta digital print (not shown) and go up to £837.64 for the (much wanted) Bunkbed.
